VARIABILITY OF COTTON WEIGHT IN ONE BAG OF F2 COTTON HYBRIDS IN KARAKALPAKSTAN

Abstract
This article studies the variability of some morphological and economic traits in F₂ hybrid generations of cotton grown in Karakalpakstan and their genetic analysis. During the study, phenotypic differences in plant height, height of the first crop branch, number of bolls, boll weight, yield and fiber-related indicators were identified, and their variation level was assessed using statistical methods. The results obtained serve as a scientific basis for creating varieties that are adaptable to the soil and climatic conditions of Karakalpakstan, with high yields and stable quality indicators.
