Abstract

In this study, the relationship between seed weight and stem height of different cotton varieties in Karakalpakstan was studied. The results of the study showed that seed weight does not always have a clear positive or negative effect on stem height across varieties and replicates. In some varieties, the stem slightly increased with increasing seed weight, while in other varieties this relationship was not observed or had an opposite effect. The results obtained are important in the process of variety selection and evaluation of yield characteristics in cotton breeding.
