Abstract

In order to reduce the selection process in agricultural crops and to ensure that new starting materials and varieties have high indicators for the main characteristics, it is advisable to fully study the plant lineage and gradually separate the characteristics and reduce the combinations created as a result of various hybrids. The correlation of characteristics is of two types, namely, flat-system and non-flat-system. In flat-system correlation, an increase or decrease in the indicators of one characteristic leads to an increase or decrease.
