Abstract

To create new varieties of cotton, breeders need to have information about the genetics of the main economic traits. The data show that quantitative traits are associated with different genes, the effect of which can change under the influence of environmental conditions. The task of this work is to create hybrid populations of different ages that are well adapted to our conditions. The best selection material will then be given to breeders for testing in appropriate nurseries and for creating new varietal numbers that are resistant to our extreme conditions.
