ECOLOGICAL AND AMENITY ASSESSMENT OF THE SALINITY LEVEL AND SALT RESERVES OF IRRIGATED MEADOW-ALLUVIAL SOILS IN CHIMBOY DISTRICT
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article analyzes the salinity level and typological characteristics of irrigated meadow soils of Chimboy district based on field and laboratory studies. It was found that 91.4 percent of the 460.4 thousand hectares of irrigated land in the region are saline to varying degrees, and the share of weakly, moderately, strongly and very strongly saline areas in terms of salinity levels is scientifically highlighted. The results revealed significant differences in the dry matter, anion and cation content of soils, with the predominance of chloride-sulfate, sulfate-chloride and sulfate salinity types.
