INFLUENCE OF ORGANO-MINERAL COMPOSTS ON SOIL POROSITY IN SALINATED LANDS
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article scientifically studies the effect of organo-mineral composts on soil porosity in the conditions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. In the studies, mineral, organic fertilizers and composts were used in different rates, and their effect on the water and air regime of the soil, total porosity and degree of compaction was determined. According to the results, when organo-mineral composts are used, the physical properties of the soil improve, water capacity increases, aeration increases, and microbiological processes are activated. In particular, composts used in combination with a reduced rate of mineral fertilizers showed high efficiency. This is of great importance in increasing the sustainable growth and productivity of crops.
