Abstract

This article analyzes the importance and current aspects of using information technologies in the process of teaching geography. It is emphasized that in the modern education system, the quality of education can be significantly improved by introducing digital tools, geographic information systems (GIS), interactive maps, satellite images, and multimedia resources into the educational process. Based on scientific research and practice, it is shown that these technologies play an important role in developing skills in students, increasing interest in science, and easily mastering complex geographical concepts.
