Abstract

The article considers the main environmental, flood and flood problems that arise in the process of sand and gravel mining in all open water basins of our Republic. The impact of mining on the natural environment, water flow, air quality and biodiversity is analyzed. The main measures that can be used to reduce environmental impacts and ensure sustainable development are also recommended. The article serves to study ways to solve environmental, flood and flood problems in this area, focusing on the environmental aspects of sand and gravel mining on the example of the Karadarya River.
