Abstract

The article studies the effect of various irrigation methods and mulching with black film and organomineral composts on water consumption in cotton, water-physical properties of the soil, and reclamation conditions in moderately saline grasslands of the Surkhandarya region. It was found that in the optimal variant of drip irrigation and mulching with 20 tons of organomineral composts between rows, the water permeability of the soil at the end of the season was 574 m3/ha, which was 76 m3/ha more than the control.
