Abstract

The article discusses the rates of organic and mineral fertilisers and the timing of their application for obtaining a high and high-quality yield from fine-fibre cotton, as well as the correct application of fertilisers during the growth phases of the cotton plant, the purposeful use of fertilisers, and the principal methods of increasing, preserving and restoring soil fertility; it shows that these aims and economic efficiency can be attained through the proper organisation of agrochemical services in agriculture.
