Abstract

The results of the introduction of the species Amorpha fruticosa L. and Amorpha golaya on saline soils showed that these plants are of ecologically important significance in degraded areas. According to the results of the study, Amorpha fruticosa L. has a high introduction assessment index (95%) and was found to be considerably resistant to salinization, high temperatures and arid conditions. Amorpha golaya, with a result of 80%, demonstrated relatively lower adaptability; however, its capacity for natural reproduction was also recorded as high.
