Abstract
This article analyses the hydrological and hydrochemical dynamics of the waters of the Amudarya and of the collector-drainage waters belonging to the irrigation system. The current state of water resources is assessed on the basis of changes in water discharge, the level of mineralization and anthropogenic loads. The impact of agricultural activity and of irrigation systems on water quality is also examined.
