Abstract

This article examines a comparative characterization of the nematode fauna of cotton on plots treated with mineral and organic fertilizers. The features of the species composition, abundance and ecological groups of nematodes in cotton agrocenoses were studied. It was established that the use of organic fertilizers promotes an increase in the diversity of saprobiotic and free-living nematodes, improves the biological activity of the soil and reduces the abundance of phytoparasitic species.
