Abstract
This thesis describes the bioecological characteristics of representatives of the family Agromyzidae belonging to the order Diptera, the damage they cause to agricultural crops and the patterns of their distribution. The adverse effect of leaf-mining flies on plants and the relevance of studying them under local conditions are substantiated. This thesis is carried out on the basis of an analysis of the scientific literature.
