Abstract
The article studies the developmental features of mulberry silkworm eggs (grena) during the spring incubation period and the influence of different temperature and humidity regimes on embryonic development. Issues of improving egg incubation technologies in order to ensure high-quality and uniform hatching in sericulture are analysed. The research objects were the monovoltine breed Tetragibrid-3, silkworm eggs supplied by the Silver-silk enterprise (imported Chinese silkworm) and eggs brought from the Navoi region; the experiments were carried out at the Pille enterprise in the Khojeli district. During incubation a relative air humidity of 75-80% was maintained; the eggs were placed in the incubator on 21 April and the hatched larvae were distributed to farms between 3 and 5 May. The Silver-silk eggs adapted rapidly to local climatic conditions and showed high biological activity, their hatching output amounting to 25 grams, whereas the eggs from the Navoi region gave a lower figure of 19 grams. Recommendations are offered on optimizing the correspondence between the rate of egg revival and the rate of mulberry leaf development.
