Abstract

This article presents information on the decline of soil fertility as a result of global climate change, on the importance of nodule bacteria in increasing yields in crop production and in improving the condition of the soil, and on the influence of sowing time and seeding rate on the symbiotic activity of representatives of the legume family, in particular the chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.).
