THE BIOLOGICAL, ECOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC SIGNIFICANCE OF FISH FARMING UNDER POLYCULTURE CONDITIONS

Abstract
This article describes the biological, ecological and economic importance of fish farming under polyculture conditions. The polyculture method makes it possible to use the natural food base effectively and to maintain the ecological balance by rearing different fish species together in a single water body. It is also emphasized that this method is of great importance in reducing feed costs, ensuring the rational use of water resources and achieving high economic efficiency.
