SCIENTIFIC FOUNDATIONS FOR RESTORING DEGRADED LANDS AND DEVELOPING SUSTAINABLE FARMING IN CHIMBAY DISTRICT

Abstract
This paper sets out the scientific foundations for restoring degraded irrigated lands in the Chimboy district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and for developing sustainable farming under conditions of climate change and water scarcity. The agroecological efficiency of minimum tillage, enrichment with organic matter, green manure crops and modern irrigation technologies is substantiated.
