THE FUTURE OF THE NATIVE LANGUAGE AMONG YOUTH

Abstract

In the conditions of globalisation and the spread of foreign languages, a decline in young people's interest in their native language can be observed, which leads to the loss of national identity and cultural heritage. This study is aimed at analysing the factors that influence the preservation of the native language among the younger generation, as well as at finding effective measures for its popularisation. The work examines the influence of digital technologies, educational programmes and state language policy on the language behaviour of young people. On the basis of the analysis carried out, recommendations are proposed for strengthening the position of the native language in modern society.
