Abstract

The processes of water resource formation in the Aral Sea region, natural changes in the delta, the role of the Amu Darya in the life of the Karakalpak people, the role of water resources in the formation of economic structures and ethnoculture in the delta, and the ethnogeographic features of their use are explored.
