Abstract

This paper analyzes the legal foundations for developing women’s research potential, expanding their participation in higher education and science, and ensuring gender equality in Uzbekistan. It also discusses the social, family and economic factors that prevent women from engaging in research, as well as the opportunities being created by the state.
