Abstract

The article studies the content and artistic features of praise songs in Karakalpak folklore and their importance in the upbringing of children. It considers the possibilities of instilling patriotism, humanity, diligence, respect for elders, reverence for parents and national values in the younger generation through praise songs. The importance of using praise songs in school and family education is also shown.
