Abstract

This paper examines the organizational and legal foundations for developing the service sector in rural areas of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It outlines the main directions of state policy, regulatory legal acts, and the role of local public authorities, business entities and public-private partnership mechanisms in developing the service sector. Issues related to developing the service delivery infrastructure in rural territories, expanding digital services and increasing the employment and incomes of the population are also analysed. Scientific and practical recommendations for improving the institutional and legal mechanisms of service sector development in rural areas have been developed.
