Abstract

This article discusses the general concept of memory, its importance in human life, and its main characteristics. It describes the role of memory in the processes of memorizing, storing, reproducing, and forgetting information. The physiological foundations of memory and its relationship with the activity of the brain and nervous system are also considered. The importance of memory in acquiring knowledge, gaining life experience, and performing daily activities is highlighted.
