The concept of time and the conception of the perfect man in the lyric poetry of Alisher Navoi

Abstract
The article examines the artistic and aesthetic features of the philosophical-Sufi ghazal with the opening verse (matla) “Baqo dashti nechuk qat’ o‘lmasun aylab murur ayyom...” from Alisher Navoi’s divan “Navodir ush-shabob”. Hermeneutic and linguopoetic methods are used to reveal such fundamental issues as the absoluteness of time, the dialectic of space and time, and the essence of human life. The system of mystical (irfani) and philosophical terms in the ghazal is analyzed, and the author’s humanistic views on human will, the problem of heedlessness and the conception of the perfect man are interpreted. The findings attest to the particular significance of the universal ideals advanced by the poet for shaping the spirituality and worldview of today’s youth.
