Abstract
This thesis reviews the basic principles and advantages of the finite difference method in solving one-dimensional differential equations, which is widely used in mathematical physics and engineering practice. Due to the limitations of solving differential equations using analytical methods, the finite difference method, as one of the numerical methods, transforms the equations into a system of algebraic equations.
