Abstract


The importance of reading, the difficulties in teaching them to read, the main elements of the improved methodology, and methods for assessing its effectiveness are considered. The methodology focuses on interactive methods, strategies for developing critical thinking, and tasks aimed at increasing linguistic and cultural competence.
