Abstract

This paper highlights the research activity of women scientists of Uzbekistan in the development of renewable energy sources, in particular their participation in the study of solar energy and semiconductor materials. Based on scientific publications by local researchers, the content of studies aimed at increasing the efficiency of photovoltaic devices is reviewed. Through literature analysis and synthesis, the possibilities of linking the research potential of women scientists with practical projects are discussed. Proposals are made for developing mechanisms of mentoring, scientific cooperation and exchange of experience within the “Olima” Women’s Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
