Abstract

The article analyzes the role and contribution of women scholars engaged in research in English linguistics, comparative and contrastive linguistics, linguoculturology and methods of teaching English at higher education and research institutions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. The study highlights the research areas, research projects and achievements of women scholars at Karakalpak State University and Nukus State Pedagogical Institute named after Ajiniyaz.
