Abstract

This study determined the laboratory germination capacity of various sorghum cultivars. Differences between cultivars regarding seed germination and germination energy were analyzed. The evaluation of sorghum variety germination under laboratory conditions was conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the International Seed Testing Association (ISTA, 2023). The results obtained are of significant importance for assessing seed quality and selecting samples with high field germination potential.
