Adaptation of Oenothera biennis L. to environmental conditions and prospects for its cultivation
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper analyzes the features of adaptation of Oenothera biennis L., an important medicinal and oilseed crop, to environmental conditions, as well as the prospects for its cultivation. The results of scientific studies on the plant’s response to water deficit, salinity, temperature, the soil environment and other environmental factors are summarized. Seed germination of Oenothera biennis L. under different moisture conditions, the tolerance of plants to a saline environment and their morphological changes during the growing season are analyzed.
