EVALUATION OF THE EFFECT OF VIBRATORY MOVEMENT ON THE RESISTANCE OF SANDY SOILS

Abstract
The construction of buildings and structures in the regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, where sandy soils are widespread, is one of the important geotechnical issues. Such soils often manifest themselves as environments with low strength, whose physical and mechanical properties change under the influence of water or external forces. It is especially necessary to take precautions for the stability of sandy soils in advance in zones with high seismic activity or in areas exposed to technogenic vibrations. This article analyzes the change in the strength properties and deformation state of sandy soils when they are subjected to vibrational (dynamic) forces. In the course of the study, laboratory and computational experiments were conducted on sand samples of different fractions, and the compaction of the soil under vibration loading, its ability to resist displacement, as well as the possibility of liquefaction were evaluated.
