Bioecological characteristics of the aquatic plant Spirulina platensis under the conditions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and its importance in agriculture
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article presents the results of studying the bioecological characteristics of Spirulina platensis in the conditions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and assessing the prospects for its practical application in agriculture. The adaptation, growth, and biomass formation characteristics of plants to growing conditions are being studied. Spirulina platensis was brought in liquid form in a volume of 3 liters from the Tashkent Fishery Institute and adapted for a mini aquarium. During the observation process, the culture successfully adapted and continued to grow. The obtained biomass was intended for use as feed for artemia and fish. The obtained results make it possible to consider Spirulina platensis as a promising biological object for further study and use in agriculture.
