Abstract

The article discusses the artistic explorations and distinctive means of portrayal used to reveal the tragic nature of the figure of the hero of the era in M. Sholokhov's "And Quiet Flows the Don" and Sh. Seyitov's "Shırashılar". The problem of creating the hero of the era is analyzed using the characters of Grigory Melekhov and old Esjan as examples.
