Development of an automated system for recording sales of medicines
Main Article Content
Abstract
The relevance of the study stems from the need to ensure transparency in the circulation of medicines, to reduce errors arising in manual record-keeping and inventory procedures, to monitor expiry dates according to the FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principle, and to manage sales and warehouse processes in real time. In the course of the work, existing pharmacy information systems were analyzed and their functional limitations and integration problems were identified. As a result of the study, a conceptual model of an automated information system, its three-tier architecture, a relational database structure and algorithms for optimizing sales processes were developed and proposed.
