Abstract

The article is dedicated to studying the structural-semantic and expressive features of somatic phraseological units in the works of I. Yusupov. Based on the analysis of the author's poetry, the main semantic groups of somatic phraseological units are identified, defining the characteristics of his idiostyle. It is emphasized that the poet skillfully used somatisms to depict the national-cultural characteristics of the Karakalpak people, convey emotional states, and create artistic images.
