Abstract

The article analyzes the history of the emergence, the stages of development and the socio-political significance of data journalism, which is becoming increasingly popular in the modern media environment. The study reveals the transformation of data journalism from simple statistics into analysis, as well as its role in ensuring openness and transparency between the state and society.
