Abstract

The article examines constitutional and legal guarantees of the rights of persons with disabilities in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It considers the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, national legislation and international human rights standards aimed at ensuring equality, preventing discrimination and securing the full participation of persons with disabilities in public and state life. Particular attention is paid to guarantees of the rights to work, education, health protection, social security, access to information and judicial protection, as well as to the specifics of their implementation for persons with hearing impairments. Using formal legal, systemic and comparative legal methods, the article identifies the main problems in implementing constitutional guarantees and outlines directions for improving these guarantees.
