Abstract

In this article, a number of environmental problems arise in the context of global climate change as a result of the drying up of the Aral Sea in its adjacent territories. In order to mitigate the negative impact of the drying up of the Aral Sea on the development of agriculture and the life of the population, a number of works are being carried out. Given the beneficial properties of saxaul, protecting it from pests and diseases is currently a pressing issue. Pests and diseases found on saxaul influence its growth and spread. Among the main pests, the species and harmfulness of galls (Diptera, Cecidomyiidae) are listed.
