Abstract

The article provides information on the species composition of pests that develop and cause damage to cucumber, tomato and sweet pepper crops grown in protected ground under the conditions of Karakalpakstan, their developmental biology, the damage they cause, as well as the entomophages that prey on these pests. Among the identified pest species are the acacia aphid, greenhouse whitefly, thrips, melon aphid, tomato leafminer and leaf-mining fly; data on entomophage counts are also included.
