Abstract

The introduction of innovations based on new technologies in agriculture is the main means of achieving the goal put forward in the article. In recent years, a shortage of water for irrigation has arisen in the Republic of Karakalpakstan as a result of global climate change, owing to climatic and hydrogeological conditions. Consequently, fresh irrigation water is insufficient, which leads to changes in specialization and its improvement. Based on a systematic analysis of the existing problems in the agricultural specialization of the Aral Sea region, the article offers theoretical proposals for applying modern practices to overcome them. The factors that give rise to these problems are also presented.
