Abstract

The study of water consumption in the process of vegetative irrigation in cotton fields fed with organic fertilizers consists of determining the influence of organic fertilizers on the water-physical properties of the soil, moisture retention capacity, and the growth and development of cotton. It is also planned to evaluate the possibilities of efficient use of water resources and increasing cotton yields by optimizing irrigation rates.

During the research process, field experiments, analysis of agrochemical and water-physical properties of the soil, monitoring of soil moisture during the growing season, determination of pre- and post-irrigation moisture indicators, and calculation of water consumption methods were used. Variants using organic fertilizers are compared with the control variant. The obtained data are subjected to mathematical and statistical analysis, and the influence of organic fertilizers on irrigation efficiency, water use indicators, and cotton yield is evaluated.

As a result of the study, it is expected to determine the relationship between the amount of water consumed for vegetative irrigation, changes in soil moisture, and irrigation efficiency in cotton fields fed with organic fertilizers. The impact of organic fertilizers on improving soil structure, increasing moisture retention properties, and the efficient use of irrigation water is evaluated. Based on the results obtained, it is possible to prepare scientific and practical recommendations for optimizing water consumption in cotton cultivation, improving irrigation dates and rates, and developing water-saving agricultural technologies.
