Abstract

This article examines the biological characteristics of watermelon and its cultivation practices under the soil and climatic conditions of Karakalpakstan. It analyzes the importance of cultivar selection, sowing dates, soil preparation, irrigation, and nutrient management for plant growth and development. Agronomic approaches to improving yield and fruit quality while considering soil salinity and water availability are discussed.
