Современная система мониторинга параметров водно-солевого режима на засоленных землях
A modern system for monitoring water-salt regime parameters on saline lands
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Aral Sea region is characterized by an arid climate, scarce water resources and a risk of secondary soil salinization under excessive or insufficient irrigation. Science-based irrigation grounded in water-salt balance modeling minimizes these negative consequences.
The aim of the article is to adapt innovative methods for monitoring the water-salt balance parameters of saline soils based on the relationship between soil suction, moisture content, salinity level and particle size distribution.
