Abstract

Local fertilizers give good results when applied to arable land in a mixture with mineral fertilizers. According to many experiments, when 4–5% superphosphate is mixed into local manure before it is applied to the soil, the total nitrogen content of the manure increases and its properties also improve. If the manure has not decomposed, it contains little phosphorus and potassium, as well as weed seeds. Therefore, long-term decomposition of local manure in manure storages and special pits is of great importance.
