Improving the technology for increasing the productivity and keeping of honey bee colonies under the ecological and agroclimatic conditions of the Aral Sea region
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research work covers, from a scientific and practical perspective, the improvement of the technology for increasing the productivity and keeping of honey bee colonies in the harsh, sharply continental and desertified climate of the Aral Sea region. In the course of the study, the effect of modern thermally insulated hive designs and protein feeds containing biostimulants on the biological characteristics of bees, their exterior traits and the overall productivity of the colony was substantiated experimentally. The results showed that the proposed modernized technology ensures the survival of bees under critical spring and summer climatic conditions, reduces spring management costs by 22–25% and raises the economic profitability of beekeeping enterprises to as much as 35%.
