Amarantlar (Amaranthus L.) turkumining biologik xususiyatlari, xo‘jalik ahamiyati va yetishtirish istiqbollari
Biological characteristics, economic importance and cultivation prospects of amaranths (genus Amaranthus L.)
Main Article Content
Abstract
The paper analyzes the biological characteristics, ecological adaptability, and food, forage and medicinal value of plants of the genus Amaranthus L., as well as the prospects for their cultivation in agriculture. Amaranths are of great practical importance as fast-growing plants that produce high biomass and adapt to diverse ecological conditions. In addition, the heat tolerance and relative drought tolerance of amaranth make it one of the promising crops for areas experiencing water scarcity.
