Abstract

The article discusses the theoretical and practical foundations of the technologies and methods of land management design and their importance for the rational management of land resources. The capabilities of geodetic measurements, digital cartography, geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing technologies are analyzed. Attention is also given to improving the design of land plots with regard to the natural and ecological conditions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, monitoring soil salinization and using water resources efficiently. The results of the study show the importance of combining traditional land management methods with digital technologies.
