Methods of rearing the wax moth

Abstract
The article presents scientific data on rearing the parasite Bracon on wax moth caterpillars in biolaboratories for use against chewing pests that develop on agricultural crops and cause heavy damage, as well as on the feed substances used for rearing wax moth adults and early-, middle- and late-instar caterpillars and on methods of preparing these feeds. It also reports data obtained in studying the biological efficiency of the entomophage depending on the quality of the wax moth produced for rearing and applying Bracon against the cotton bollworm.
