Morphological and cultural characteristics of an endophytic fungus isolated from Salvia officinalis leaves
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study investigated the isolation and morphological and cultural characteristics of an endophytic fungal isolate of Alternaria obtained from the leaves of Salvia officinalis L., a member of the Lamiaceae family. The isolated fungus was preliminarily identified as Alternaria alternata based on light microscopy and comparison with mycological databases. The results of the study demonstrated in the leaves of Salvia officinalis L.
